We are dedicated to providing Zhuan Falun and other original works of Falun Dafa by Mr. Li Zhongzhi (now 38 books plus DVD/CD) and their official translations (now in over 20 languages and growing), as well as free consultations, classes, and seminars. We present an opportunity for beginners to experience and learn the 5 meditative exercises of Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong).

Falun Dafa is a spiritual system based on the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance,” introduced by Mr. Li Hongzhi in China in 1992. It encourages a principled lifestyle characterized by high spiritual goals, searching within, consideration of others, self-improvement, and meditative exercises. Many people who begin the practice almost immediately experience a great sense of inner peace, security and joy, as well as dramatic improvements in their relationships and physical and mental health. Even chronic and terminal medical conditions have been cured by the practice of Falun Dafa. As a result, Falun Dafa spread quickly, almost completely by word-of-mouth, throughout China and many parts of the world.

 
Unfortunately, the popularity and rapid growth of Falun Dafa brought tragedy to the spiritual discipline and its founder. History has shown us that spiritual movements and leaders are sometimes perceived as a threat to those in power. In 1999, when a secret government survey discovered that in 7 short years the number of believers in Falun Dafa had grown to nearly 100 million,the totalitarian regime decided to eliminate Falun Dafa and launched a massive campaign of propaganda and persecution. Since then, tens of thousands of innocent people have been forced out of schools or jobs, thrown into labor camps or jails (sometimes without any legal procedure) and even tortured to death, just for refusing to give up their belief in Falun Dafa.

The first priority of the Chinese government was to destroy all the original Falun Dafa scriptures and stop the spread of true information about it. Homes and stores were ransacked, internet sites were blocked and reproduction and transmission of Falun Dafa materials were strictly forbidden. The persecution has been supported by a massive campaign of lies, distortion, and hate propaganda enforced, not only in China through its unique state controlled media system, but worldwide through all media, organizations and business and diplomatic channels that the regime can influence outside of China.

As a result, it is very difficult for people to get clean, true, and complete information about Falun Dafa. Those searching for information almost always encounter a mixture of truth, misconceptions, and deliberately planted lies and distortions.

It is against this backdrop that a few of us started our not-for-profit corporation, Tianti Books, Inc. Our goal is to provide people with a trustworthy source of true and complete information about Falun Dafa, a place where people can find all of the original works and the most complete collection of verified translations of Falun Dafa scriptures, materials and articles, as well as a place to connect with real practitioners, share experiences, and obtain free instruction and seminars on Falun Dafa and its meditation exercises.

Innocent people are still being jailed, tortured and killed as a consequence of the persecution. The truth is still being obscured by the lies, distortions and hate propaganda of the Chinese government. But we hope that by providing true information about Falun Dafa, we will not only help more people benefit from this wonderful practice, help dispel the misconceptions and lies, but also help save lives and bring an end to the brutal persecution.
