Terms of Service

PAYMENT:

We accept Visa, Master, American Express only, credit or debit card. If a bank check for special reasons, please confirm with our service team before mailing in the bank check.

 

SHIPPING:

We ship worldwide, including to all US P.O. Boxes and US Territories. At this time, shipping is not available to APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

At this time, we ship to only one address per order. For shipping to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each location.

 

SHIPPING METHODS:

After choosing products from our website, you will most likely select one of the US postal services as your carrier for domestic or international delivery. 

Standard delivery: Your package should arrive within 3-5 business days from the time of confirmation. Orders will be shipped using either USPS Ground or FedEx Ground. If an order is placed over the weekend, it will be processed on the following Monday.

Express delivery: Orders placed before 12:00 pm (EST) Monday-- Friday should arrive within 2 business days unless additional validation is required. Your package will be shipped using USPS Domestic Priority Mail Express. (Please note that some zip codes are not available for this service). Express orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday.

International Delivery: Please allow up to 10-15 days for international deliveries. If a longer period is needed, we will notify you by email.

 

SHIPPING FEES:

The shipping is calculated based on the total weight of your order, the destination address and the carrier you chose.

 

TRACKING YOUR SHIPMENTS:

Orders are usually shipped right after the payment is cleared, excluding national holidays when U.S. post offices are closed.

Once your package is shipped, we will send you a confirmation email with a tracking number.

If you have a registered account with us, you can track the status of your order as well as your shipment information on our website.

 

RETURN:

All sales are final. This is mainly because of the nature of the books we handle. However, we are happy to accept order cancellations if the products are not shipped yet. 

 

DAMAGES

- Occasionally there are printing or binding errors. To save time and expense, contact the publisher for a replacement directly: Email or call the publisher(s). The publisher's address is printed in the book.

- Our policy does not cover any physical damage or loss that your product may incur in transit. If you receive a product that is damaged in transit, contact your carrier timely (for example U.S. Post office/UPS/DHL) for all damages or losses incurred during the transit. Our service team will be happy to assist you when you have difficulties in communicating with your carrier.


BACKORDERS:
All orders not in stock at the time of order will be placed on backorder unless the purchase order specifies otherwise. Backorders will automatically be filled as the product becomes available. You will be notified only if your backorder has been outstanding for more than (4) weeks.

 

SERVICING COUNTRIES AND REGIONS:
We serve most of the countries and regions in the world, as long as the carrier to destination is not affected by COVID-19 (CCP Virus) pandemic.

 

NOTE:

USPS First-Class International provides tracking until your package leaves the United States only. Please be aware that if you choose USPS First-Class International shipping, your shipment cannot be tracked once it leaves the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Import duties are due if the ordered value exceeds a certain threshold, called the "de minimis" import duty threshold value which is set individually by each country. Typical values vary from $20 USD to $1,000 USD. We recommend checking your country's current import duty rules before ordering.

Value Added Tax (VAT): Our prices do not include VAT. In addition to the import duties, some countries may also require payment of VAT. We recommend checking your country's current VAT rules before ordering. The European Union (EU) has made changes to its VAT. Since July 1, 2021, all orders shipped to the EU are subject to VAT. Buyers are required to pay VAT on all purchases upon delivery of goods. At this moment, our bookstore is not able to collect and remit VAT on purchases shipping to the EU. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Brokerage Fees: For international orders, in addition to import duties and VAT, brokerage fees may also be required on delivery if you would like your shipping carrier to perform customs clearance on your behalf. You may choose to waive these service fees by obtaining customs clearance in person at your nearest governmental customs office. The cost of the brokerage fees will depend on the shipping carrier, the goods purchased as well as the destination country where the goods are delivered. We recommend checking the terms on brokerage fees with your shipping service provider before ordering.
